Total Of €40,000 Allocated Between 21 Different Arts And Cultural Groups By Cork County Council

The money is part of the Creative County Cork Grant Scheme, which is in it's fifth year

The purpose of the scheme is to support both local communities, and the creative sector, in holding artistic and cultural events throughout the entire county.

Among the 21 successful applicant organisations are: Doneraile Arts FesT; Ballinascarthy Remembers; Ballinspittle Comhaltas; Bantry Creates; Bere Island Women Create; Clonakilty Community Resource Centre; Comharchumann Chléire Teoranta; Cork Craft & Design; Cork Film Centre/ Cork Young Filmmakers; Cumann na Daoine; Dáimh Amhránaíochta Acadamh Fódhla; Ellen Hutchins Festival; Greywood Arts CLG; Kanturk Arts Festival; Kilmurry Historical and Archaeology Association; Macroom School of Art; Midleton Arts Festival; Mitchelstown Lithuanian Arts and Crafts Community Group; Owenabue Arts Collective; Sirius Arts Centre and Youghal 2020 - St Mary's 800.
