Traders in Buttevant have expressed a sigh of relief as 18 months of roadworks come to an end.
Locals are reminding motorists the town is open for business and have planned celebrations as the roadworks cease.

Once noted as the worst road surface in any Irish town the main street has now been completely re-surfaced and new footpaths and lighting have been installed and trades are anxious to attract people into the town.
Buttevant Community Council is organising an Open for Business street party on Saturday December 10th.
