Traders Need Certainty That Lower Lee Flood Relief Scheme Will Provide
That's according to the Chief Executive of Cork City Council who says it's time for a collaborative approach to deliver the €150m project.
Ann Doherty hit out at the Save Cork City campaign group who have objected to the plans which they say will threaten the historic fabric of the city with emphasis on raised quay walls.
However the Chief Executive says the group isn't taking into account public consultation, Bord Pleanála decisions, international peer review, and the common good.
Speaking to RedFM News Chief Executive of Cork City Council Ann Doherty says those who do business in the city centre need certain as the current pandemic continues to creat obstacles:
