It's traffic chaos Leeside this morning as overnight freezing temperatures combined with rain and drizzle in some parts of the county this morning are making roads treacherous.
Motorists are being advised to delay their journeys if at all possible.
Gardaí at Angelsea Street have confirmed to RedFM News they're dealing with multiple traffic incidents across the city.
Icy patches are being reported in Cobh, Crosshaven, Castlemartyr, in the Whites cross area, on Dublin Hill, on route to and from Carrignavar, at the roundabout in Brooklodge Glanmire.
Elsewhere the route between Skibbereen and Innishannon has been described as Lethal.
Cars have skidded off the road in clonakilty town - one on the by pass by recycling centre and 1 between the lodge and cambells corner.
Gardaí are also dealing with an incidnet at peddlers cross.
Speaking to RedFM News Sergeant Peter Murphy from Anglesea St Garda Station says people need to delay their journeys where possible:
