Traffic Restrictions On Patrick Street Shouldn't Have A Negative Impact On Traffic Flow In The City Centre 

That's according to City Hall who say a number of measures to improve the movement of traffic in the city centre have already been implemented. 

St Patrick street will become a bus lane between the hours of 3pm and 6:30pm daily from next Tuesday, to prioritise the 2,600 daily Cork City bus services that pass through the street every day.

Private car traffic will not be permitted to use the street during these hours with the exception of buses, taxis, cyclists and emergency vehicles.
