Transport Minister Defends Handling Of Aer Lingus Strike

The Transport Minister is rejecting Fianna Fáil claims that he's dragging his heels in preventing a strike at airports this day week. SIPTU staff at Aer Lingus and Cork, Dublin and Shannon airports plan to walk off the job for four hours in a row over the deficit in the pension fund. The Government's set up an expert panel to look at the issue after other talks failed - but Fianna Fáil says Leo Varadkar should be doing more.
