Transport networks aiming to get back in action today
Efforts to clear snow and ice from the runway at Cork airport is continuing this morning.
The airport will remain closed until midday when an update on runway conditions will be issued.
The weather condtions have led Ryanair and Aer Lingus to cancel some early morning flights.
Bus Eirean City, Commuter and Rural services will resume at 12:00 the earliest, however this is dependent on road conditions.
Irish Rail say midday will be the earliest they'll be in a position to run trains from.
Speaking to RedFM News, Head of communications at Cork Airport, Kevin Cullinane has this update on conditions.
