The road at Tinkers Cross on the North Ring Road is partially blocked by a fallen tree, a car has been hit by a tree on the Carrigrohane road, one lane of the N27 is blocked between the Turners Cross exit and the footbridge.
There are also trees down at Temple Hill Ballincollig, on the Centre Park Road, on the N22 Cork to Macroom road and on the L 2470 in Ringaskiddy.
Temporary fencing is also partially blocking the road outside Foxwarren Estate near Douglas Hall Soccer Club
Gardai are warning that power lines may fall with the trees and are advising extreme caution
