Tributes are pouring in for a Cork woman who died while trekking in Africa

Majella Duffy from Rathcormac died on Friday while climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation

The 35 year old has been described as a wonderful genuine person.

She had raised over €8000 for the charity in memory of her father who died from a heart attack at the age of 47.

Since her death almost €700 has been donated to her fundraising campaign.

Speaking to RedFM News Fianna Fail Councillor for Fermoy and friend Deirdre O'Brien says she was an inspirational person.
