Tributes Paid To Teen Who Died After Ingesting Substance At Festival In Mitchelstown

Jack Downey from Clonmel passed away yesterday afternoon after three days on a ventilator in Cork University Hospital.

The 19-year-old, who was studying accountancy at Cork Institute of Technology, is believed to have taken ecstasy on the first day of the festival.

A post mortem will take place later this morning.

Hundreds attended a special mass for Jack last night - which was organised before he died.
