Trócaire Says US Withdrawal From Paris Climate Change Agreement Would Betray The Poor
Aid agency Trócaire is warning that a US withdrawal from the Paris Climate Change Agreement would be a "shameful betrayal of the world's poor".
US President Donald Trump is expected to pull the US out of the carbon reduction deal brokered in 2015, putting him at odds with nearly every other country in the world.
Trump has previously described climate change as a "hoax".
But Trócaire's Executive Director Éamonn Meehan says it's already happening:
