Two Cork Communities Left Reeling After Deaths of Two People Abroad

Both people were in their 20s.
A 21-year-old who is from the Northside of the city, died when she fell from the balcony of an apartment while on holidays in the popular resort of Playa de Los Americas in Tenerife.
An investigation is underway however the incident is thought to be a tragic accident.
Her family have travelled to Spain and arrangements are being made to return her body to Ireland in the next couple of days.
The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that they are offering consular assistance to her family.
Meanwhile a 26-year-old man has died in a car crash in Australia.
The man who is originally from Little Island was killed on Wednesday when his car went out of control and crashed.
It's understood he was on his way to work when the single vehicle collision happened.
