Two Cork Hospitals Record Long Delays For Stroke Patients

According to the Irish Examiner, it took stroke victims in Cork as long as 7 hours to arrive at their nearest hospital

Two Hospitals in Cork have recorded the longest delays for the arrival of Stroke victims to their emergency departments.

The Irish Examiner reports that delays are longest for stroke patients travelling Bantry General Hospital and Cork's Mercy University Hospital between the onset of the condition and medical treatment
