Two Cork pubs have united in purchasing a defibrillator for the reassurance of their customers and the community this Christmas.
O'Sullivans and the South County bars located in Douglas installed a defibrillator in a bid to secure the safety of their customers following the sudden death of a man in the community last year.
It's estimated 13 people die every day in Ireland as a result of sudden cardiac arrest and key members of staff of both pubs have been specifically trained in case of an emergency.
Donal O'Sullivan of O'Sullivans Bar spoke to RedFM News and says they're trained up and ready for action.
