Two Cork schools celebrate wins at EU Contest for Young Scientists in Milan

Coláiste Treasa in Kanturk and Glanmire Community College both scooped awards.
Two Cork schools are celebrating after wins at the EU Contest for Young Scientists in Milan.
Eimear Murphy and Ian O'Sullivan from Coláiste Treasa in Kanturk won the Irish BT Young Scientist competition this year with their project, examining the effects that parental adult consumption can have on their adolescent children.
And today it won the Intel ISEF prize in Italy.
They'll now travel to the United States next year to take part in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Arizona.
Elsewhere Mark O'Dowd from Glanmire Community College won a food expo prize at the event which is linked with Food Expo 2015 event in Milan for his project which is based on energy increase in crop use.
Speaking to RedFM News Eimear Murphy says the three students are delighted to represent Cork and they're happy their hard work has been recognised:
