The men were found unresponsive in a vehicle that was found rolled over at 10:30am. on Saturday morning just west of Melita in the Canadian province of Manitoba.
Police say the men, aged 33 and 42, were unresponsive in the flipped vehicle and were later pronounced dead at the scene...
It's understood the men are from North and West Cork however the Department of Foreign Affairs has yet to confirm these details..
In a statement issued to RedFM News the Department says its aware of aware of media reports that two Irish people have been killed in a car accident in Canada but they have received no requests for consular assistance
