Two Men Remain In Custody Over Fermoy Death

Two men remain in Garda custody in connection with the death of a man in Fermoy on Tuesday night.

Slovak, Ludovit Pasztor, a 40 year old father of two who was living in Fermoy, died after he received a single blow to the head from an iron bar during the incident at the Amber Filling Station in the town.

The victim and a Polish friend got into a row with two Polish truck drivers, at a truck stop behind the filling stations sometime after 10pm on Tuesday night. 

Meanwhile gardai arrested the two Polish truck drivers, aged 43 and 29, for questioning about the fatal assault

They're being held at Fermoy and Mallow Garda stations
