Two new routes take off from Cork Airport

The flights to the UK officially get off the ground this week.

Two new Aer Lingus Regional routes are to begin operating at Cork Airport this week.

Beginning today, flights will depart for Southampton and will operate up to five times weekly.

Meanwhile the new service to Leeds Bradford will begin tomorrow and will operate up to three times weekly.

The airline aims to carry an additional 60,000 passenger through Cork this year and have also annouced increased frequency on Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow routes from Cork.
