One of the victims sustained serious injuries and is being treated in hospital
Anglesea Street Gardai are appealing for witnesses after two people were knocked down at the Albert Road/Victoria Road junction this morning
The two were taken to hospital for medical treatment and one of the victims sustained serious injuries in the incident which happened at around 8 o'clock this morning
Albert Road has been closed and will remain closed for a number of hours to allow for a forensic collision examination of the scene
