Two People Charged Over Aggravated Burglary In The City Yesterday

Gardaí from Togher attended a noise complaint at an apartment on the South Douglas Road shortly before 4:30am.
Gardaí found an injured man inside the building who said an unknown man in his 30s and woman in her 40s had broken into his apartment and that the man had stabbed him in the leg.
Armed Gardaí made their way into the apartment and arrested the suspects.
A knife was recovered and the apartment owner was brought to CUH for treatment.
He has since been discharged.
The man and woman were held at Togher Garda Station and are due before the City District Court this morning.
