Two People Have Been Arrested Following An Attempted Robbery In Grenagh This Morning

The raid on the local post office and supermarket in the small village close to Mallow happened at around 8.30am
Gardai told RedFM News that a male, armed with a baton, entered the premises this morning and was unsuccessful in hi
s attempts to take cash from the store.
A second male fled the scene in a car that is believed to have been stolen, which was involved in a single vehicle road traffic collision a short time later.
Two males, one in his early 20s and one in his late teens, have been arrested and are currently detained at Gurranabraher Garda Station.
