Two separate searches for missing men to resume Leeside

The two cases are unrelated and gardaí in Gurranabraher are appealing to members of the public to join the searches. 

Two separate search operations are set to resume again today for missing men Leeside. 

The two cases are unrelated and gardaí in Gurranabraher are appealing to members of the public to join the searches. 

31-year-old Diarmuid Twomey was last seen in the early hours of Sunday morning, near Fairhill. 

He is being described as 6-foot tall, of stocky build, with dark brown hair and may be wearing a blue check shirt, beige/brown chinos and brown runners. 

Meanwhile, 50-year-old David Mannix has been missing since 9.30am on December 12th from Bakers Road.

When last seen he was wearing a dark green coat, dark suit pants and dark shoes - and was driving a black Ford Focus with a 00 C registration.  

Speaking to RedFM News, Inspector Gary McPolin from Gurranabraher Garda station says anyone with information on either case can contact any member of the force:
