U.S. Attack Syrian Airbase in Retaliation for Idlib Chemical Attack
The United States has attacked a Syrian airbase with around 60 missiles in response to this week's deadly chemical attack in Idlib which killed 80 people.
They were fired from warships in the Mediterranean - and targeted a government-controlled site.
The US has blamed President Assad for the chemical weapons attack - while the regime says it's the victim of American aggression.
President Donald Trump has urged world leaders to help end what he calls the slaughter and bloodshed in Syria:
