UCC: Multi-Million Euro Sports Ground Will Cement Its Place As Ireland's Premier Sporting University
The new development in Curraheen will include up to 9 pitches for rugby, soccer, GAA and hockey as well as a gym, changing rooms and a pavilion.
The University says its current sports facilities are coming under increasing pressure and expects the new grounds will take five years to complete.
Speaking to RedFM News at the launch of the plan this morning, Director of Sport and Physical Activity at UCC Morgan Buckley says the new grounds have great potential:
