There was a 42% drop in complaints to the university about anti-social behaviour in the area last year.
UCC Students Union says there was a 42% drop in complaints to the university about anti-social behaviour in the area last year.
If follows complaints by residents near UCC in February of this year, who said anti-social behaviour was an ongoing problem among students in their area.
Residents say this type of disruption peaks during Raise and Give Week and Fresher's Week which is taking place at the college in the coming weeks.
However speaking to RedFM News Students Union President Olan Sheehan says they will be consulting with residents associations to prevent anti-social behaviour witnessed in previous years:
