UCC SU Describe Revelation That Some Students Are Skipping Lectures To Work As 'Difficult And Unfair'

A new survey by the Irish League of Credit Unions revealed today that more than two thirds of students are struggling financially at college.

Over half of those surveyed said they have missed college lectures in favour of paid work - an increase of 22% on 2017.

It was also recently revealed that students at UCC are facing the highest increase in the price of college accomodation in Ireland, with rent hikes of up to 11.5% Leeside.
