Ulster Bank promises to compensate customers
Ulster Bank has promised to compensate customers who were unable to pay for purchases last night and are 'out of pocket'. Those making online and card payments were effected from around 6 yesterday evening - but the problem has since been resolved. The cause of the glitch isn't known. Online security expert David Whitelegg thinks ultimately the group could pay the price:
