Union sources say progress is slow at meeting with Bus Eireann management

Representatives say the prospect of a deal on Day 14 of the bus strike remains only 50-50
Union sources meeting with Bus Eireann management this evening in the ongoing row over cost-cutting, say progress is slow.
The focus of talks - which are expected to continue late into the night at the Workplace Relations Commission - is currently on drivers' issues.
Unless agreement is reached tomorrow, Bus Eireann services are unlikely to resume over the weekend.
The strike is costing the company €500,000 per day and causing widespread travel disruption.
