Universities in the city giving their backing to a new €8.7 million Health and Life Science hub

The iEd Hub partnership aims to deliver an innovative approach to education for enterprise, with curriculums designed and developed in conjunction with industry partners.
Companies like Boston Scientific, Janssen, Pfizer and Stryker are involved in the project, with students spending their time between industry sites and their university campuses.
Pharmaceutical and medical goods account for 31% of Ireland's total exports and Cork is the country's largest Foreign Direct Investment cluster in the sector.
It's hoped the new partnership will lead to significant growth in the industry.
