Unrest Within Fine Gael Continues

It's being reported that Fine Gael backbenchers are questioning whether its worth remaining in Government.

The political editor of the Irish Times has made the claims and says there's a feeling of anger amongst the party who feel that despite being in power - they're being dictated to by outsiders like the Independents and Fianna Fail.

Yesterday the unrest culminated in the Kerry backbencher Brendan Griffin calling for Enda Kenny to step down.

However he got little support elsewhere - after a wave of senior Government Ministers voiced their support for the current Taoiseach.
