Up To 150 Gardaí Have Carried Out Raids Targeting Suspected Criminal Gangs Across Cork This Morning

Around 70 officers from the Criminal Assets Bureau were involved in the searches which began at around 5am.
Gardaí backed up by members of CAB conducted raids at 21 locations across Cork and one in Tipperary
Gardaí have confirmed to RedFM news in the past few minutes that the operation has been ongoing for a number of months and is targeting assets believed to be acquired through criminality.
The raids which began before 6am this morning saw officers seize six cars and over €20,000 in cash.
Two arrests were made during the operation and they've been taken to Bandon Garda Station for questioning.
