Up to €4,000 is being made available to businesses for outdoor dining

Cork City Council say the new grant scheme is open to existing businesses in the tourism and hospitality sector throughout the city
It's hoped the hospitality sector will re-open soon and it's expected an emphasis will be placed on outdoor dining.
Speaking to RedFM News Elmarie McCarthy from Cork City Council says the grant will benefit many businesses:
"It's available throughout the city, regardless of where you're located, and it's also open to whether you've got dining with a sweet furniture licence outside of your premises on a public footpath or three, but also on your private lands if you've got if you're facilitating outdoor dining and so for example the courtyard, and also it covers expenditure dating back to April of last year so investments that you made last year, could still be eligible for some support."
