UPDATE: County Council To Seek Court Order To Remove Mobile Homes From Fermoy Estate

A meeting between the head of housing at Cork County Council and local councillors from Fermoy took place this afternoon
A standoff between residents of Beechfield estate and members of the travelling community has been underway since a new mobile home was moved onto a green area of the estate.
Residents claim that some members of the travelling community have been engaging in anti-social behaviour in the area.
The occupants of the mobile home reject the claims of residents and say they have no choice but to install a new mobile home as the one they had been living in was in a very poor condition.
