UPDATE: Elderly Woman Found Injured On The Road In Rylane Dies In Hospital
Gardai are not treating her death as suspicious
The woman was discovered by a man passing in a car at Annagannihy Bridge, in Rylane at twenty to seven and was only spotted because her hand was stretched out onto the road
The driver stopped and raised the alarm and the woman was rushed to Cork University Hospital for treatment for her injuries where she was pronounced dead
The scene was sealed off for a time by gardaí who were working to establish how she sustained her injuries but in the past few minutes have confirmed to RedFM News that they are not treating her death as suspicious
