UPDATE: Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Carrying Out 30 Years Of Pension Fraud Released Without Charge
He was arrested in Cork City Centre yesterday
The man in his 50s was detained yesterday morning in relation to the fraud worth over half a million euro.
Almost 10 thousand euro in cash was seized when a house in Cork was later searched by Gardai and the Department of Social Protection.
The man has been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
