UPDATE: Man Being Quizzed over Farranree Murder Released

A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions
Gardai have released a man they'd been questioning about the murder of a mother of three on the north side of Cork city
39 year old Nicola Collins was found dead in a flat on Pophams Road in Farranree early yesterday morning.
A post-mortem revealed that she suffered serious head injuries during a fatal assault in a flat over a convenience store on Pophams Road in Farranree and was
pronounced dead at the scene..
A 42 year old man, originally from Charleville, was detained as part of the investigation at Mayfield Garda station.
He has now been released and a file is being prepared for the DPP.
