Update on road conditions Leeside
Gardaí are advising motorists to continue driving with care this afternoon.
Gardai are advising motorists to continue to exercise care on all minor routes across the city and county this afternoon.
A number of minor collisions have been reported across the morning on the Carrigaline to Minane Bridge route with particular caution advised for anyone driving around the Ballyfeard area.
Patches of ice are still lingering in some areas such as Donnybrook Hill and on the Watergrasshill to Rathcormac road and care is needed on all minor roads in West Cork.
Gardai in city and county stations say generally traffic problems have eased on all main routes as the ice has melted but drivers are being urged to be vigilent especially when using roads that are sheltered.
