UPDATE: One person treated by paramedics in Kinsale after her car went off the pier
The woman was treated for shock after the incident which happened near the Galleon Mast on Pier Road in the town
Fire Control confirmed to RedFM News that one unit of the fire service from Kinsale responded to the scene
The car went off the pier and into the mud shortly before midday with the female driver still inside the vehicle
Firefighters had to free the woman from the vehicle and she was subsequently treated at the scene by paramedics
