Cork Chamber says the move by Ryanair raises real concerns regarding the ability of Cork Airport to avoid closure without further financial support
Ryanair is to close it's bases at Cork and Shannon Airports for the winter.
In a statement issued to media outlets this morning the low fares airline confirmed that it's to cut it's winter capacity from 60 to 40% on the previous year
Ryanair is Cork Airport's biggest customer and operates flights out of Cork to 24 airports in eight countries around the world
