UPDATE - Road re-opens following early morning crash
The N22 between Macroom and Ballyvourney has reopened to traffic after an incident involving a car and a truck earlier this morning.
The incident happened at Coolnacaheragh which is in the series of bad bends on the stretch of roads and the driver of the car was taken to hospital.
Ambulance crews and the Macroom fire brigade responded to the scene which was closed for a number of hours to facilitate tow trucks to remove the vehicles.
