UPDATE - The N72 Fermoy/Mallow road remains closed following earlier accident
The Ballyhooley Road into Fermoy remains closed this afternoon following a two car collision earlier this morning.
One man in his 20's was killed and one adult and one of two children travelling in the other car were also injured.
Both are being treated at Cork University Hospital and it's believed the child sustained serious head injuries.
The N72 Fermoy/Mallow road remains closed at Castlehyde pending an investigation by a forensic crash investigator.
