Updates on Cork Travel
All you need to know on air, bus and rail travel in Cork this morning in the aftermath of Storm Ophelia.
AIRPORT
Passengers travelling from Cork Airport are being advised to expect delays and possible cancellations today.
Management say is the worst storm to hit Cork Airport in its 56 year history.
Passengers are being advised to check directly with their airlines for flight updates for the rest of today.
There are currently three listed cancelleations in arrivals and two in departures.
BUS
Meanwhile Bus Eireann say the majority of their services are operating this morning.
However there are a number of services Leeside which are facing disruption
Route 215 diverted via common's road due to fallen tree at Fitzys Boreen
Route 223 Carrigmahon not served due to fallen tree
Route 233 Macroom to Cork via Coachford no Service due to fallen trees
Route 240 no service between Cloyne and Ballycotton due to fallen tree
RAIL
Elsewhere Iarnrod Eireann have issued an update on their services in Cork to RedFM News this morning.
The first Services out of midleton and Cobh ran as normal.
The 6.15 Cork - Dublin departed as normal, as did the 7am.
However there is debris on the line outside Kilbarry, which means the 8am Cork - Dublin train is subject to delay.
Track maintenence crews have been working all morning and last night to clear debris from tracks across Cork and nationwide
Iarnrod Eireann say their services are running today, but could be subject to delays.
