US tornado death toll revised downwards
The number of people killed in a tornado in Oklahoma City has been revised down from 91 to 24. The State's medical examiner's office believes some of the victims were counted twice in the early chaos of the storm. The victims include seven children. President Obama is about to make a statement following the tornado. The twister flattened entire neighbourhoods - destroying a school. The town of Moore was given a 16 minute warning before the 2-mile wide twister hit the ground.
