Using synthetic drugs likened to Russian Roulette
The sister of a Cork teenager who lost his life after taking a deadly hallucinogenic drug says he played Russian Roulette with his life.
Nicole Ryan was attending the inquest into her brother Alex's death, which returned a verdict of death by misadventure.
18 year old Alex Ryan died in January of last year after he took a deadly synthetic drug known as NBomb at a party in the Greenmount area of the city.
His sister welcomed a call from the Cork Coroner for a more structured approach to educating young people in schools about the dangers of synthetic drugs.
