Vera Twomey Begs For Support As She Gears Up To Walk From Mallow To The Dail

She says the lack of legislation around medicinal cannabis is putting her daughter's life at risk
A Cork mother who is marching from Mallow to the Dail this afternoon says she has been left with no option but to pursue this course of action for her daughter.
Vera Twomey's daughter Ava needs medicinal cannabis to ease the seizures she suffers brought on by Dravet Syndrome and last week the Health Minister denied an application for access to this treatment on compassionate grounds.
Vera has accused the Government of failing her and says the lack of legislation around medicinal cannabis is putting her daughter's life at risk
People Before Profit TD Gino Kenny is joining Vera on her march on her walk to the Dail, which is leaving the roundabout in Mallow around now.
Speaking to RedFM News Vera says she will not allow her daughter to be sidelined by the Government
