Vera Twomey given five different options by Government

More than five different options have been put on the table by the Government for Cork mother Vera Twomey who has been campaigning for medicinal cannabis.
The Aghabullohg woman mounted a protest walk from Cork to the Dáil after her application for medicinal cannabis for her sever-year-old daughter Ava was rejected by the government on the grounds that a pediatric neurologist hadn't signed off on the application.
Ava suffers from a rare form of epilepsy and needs the cannabis oil to help reduce her seizures.
All eyes were on Leinster House yesterday when Vera arrived with hundreds of supporters.
She met with the Health Minister for four and a half hours upon her arrival.
Speaking to Cork's RedFM after the meeting Vera and TD Gino Kenny say they'll know in two weeks time just how positive the meeting was:
