Vera Twomey welcomes comments in the Dail by Mary Lou McDonald
Vera Twomey, who is currently walking to Dublin, to highlight the plight of her daughter, has welcomed comments on her case made in the Dail by Sinn Fein's Mary Lou McDonald.
Vera, who is currently in New Inn, Co Tipperary began her protest march on Monday from Mallow to Dublin after her application for medicinal cannabis for her daughter Ava was refused.
Vera's application on behalf of her 7 year old was denied as a paediatric neurologist didn't sign off on the application.
The Aghabollouge mother says she fears Ava's life is in danger and says her camapign will continue until the Governemnt changes the legislation around medicinal cannabis.
Sinn Fein's Mary Lou McDonald told the House that Vera is living in fear and she needs the Minister to act now:
