VEX Robotics Team From Kinsale Community School To Head Stateside

Their project scooped an excellence award at the competition held at CIT 


The VEX Robotics Team from Kinsale Community School are heading Stateside later this year to represent the schoool after their project scooped an excellence award at the competition held at CIT 

The Transition Year robot team, made up of 26 students, took part in the Vex Robotics Final in CIT which enables students to learn about STEM subjects through designing, building, programming and competing with their robot in competitions organised by DELL EMC.

The group won the tournament, scooped the coding skills and driving skills award and ultimately the excellence award which secures a place for them in the world championships in Kentucky in April
