Victim of Macroom house fire laid to rest

The incident happened in the early hours of Monday morning.
One of the victims of a house fire in Macroom at the weekend has been laid to rest.
62 year old Noel O'Mahony, who was a postman, died after the house he was visiting at St Colman's Park was engulfed in flames in the early hours of Monday morning.
27 year old Kenneth Relihan, who was also in the house at the time, died after he was overcome by the smoke.
His mother Nóirín McAuliffe, jumped from an upstairs window to escape the blaze which Gardai believe began accidentally.
Noel O'Mahony, was a father of three, and was highly thought of by locals who described him as a larger than life character.
Hundreds of mourners paid their last respects at his funeral mass this afternoon before his burial at Clondrohid Cemetary.
Speaking to RedFM News local parish Priest Fr Donal Roberts says the men's deaths have stunned the local community:
