Visiting Restrictions Introduced At Cork's Mercy University Hospital
It follows a surge in the number of patients with flu-like symptoms presenting to the hospital's Emergency Department
Visiting is restricted to all areas of the hospital in the interest of patient safety except for critically ill patients, however no more than two visitors at any one time will be permitted.
Only parents and grandparents may visit children in St. Anne's ward, with no more than two visitors per bed at any one time
The hospital is seeking the public's cooperation with the restrictions and wishes to thank the public for their assistance.
